Help

Using MediMeet

Your account shows the rooms and actions you are allowed to use. A feature described here may be unavailable in your clinic's current release.

ℹ Your rooms and Join

Your rooms lists the meeting spaces available to your account. Join opens the meeting flow; allow camera and microphone access when asked. A room's display name is its readable label, and a lounge is a staff meeting space with its own joining rules.

ℹ Waiting room and admission

A waiting room, also called a lobby, keeps someone outside the call until an authorized person admits them. Being able to open a page does not mean you have been admitted.

ℹ Room access and invitations

Grant access allows an account to join a room; Revoke access removes that permission. An invitation is an attempt to send joining information, not confirmation it arrived. Removing permission does not always remove someone already in a call; ask the room supervisor or IT if someone remains.

ℹ Tiers, supervisors and permissions

Your tier is your account category: admin, supervisor or staff. The supervisor of a particular room is a separate assignment. Permissions and room assignments determine which actions work; a clinic-unit label does not give room access.

ℹ Devices and End session

Devices shows your sign-in sessions with broad app or browser labels, not an exact list of physical phones. End session stops that sign-in from making new authenticated requests; confirm which session you mean before ending it. Ask IT for help if you lose a device.

ℹ Sign out and idle sign-in

Sign out ends your current app sign-in. If it cannot reach the server, reconnect and try again rather than assume you are signed out. After the clinic's idle limit, the app asks you to sign in again; an external meeting may still be open.

ℹ Two-step sign-in and recovery

Use your authenticator's current code after your password. A recovery code is private and works only once in the supported recovery flow. Do not send passwords, setup keys or codes to IT; ask for help if you cannot complete sign-in.

ℹ Board and requests

If enabled for you, the Board shows allowed rooms and their meeting state. Requests are cross-room messages with a progress status; they appear only when your clinic has enabled messaging.

ℹ Recordings and transcripts

These features appear only when approved and enabled. A recording is saved meeting media; a transcript is text made from a recording. Access and how long they are kept follow separate clinic rules, so do not copy or delete them to solve an app problem.

ℹ Copy technical details

The Help control below copies limited troubleshooting details such as the app build and browser. Share them only through the clinic's approved support channel; do not add meeting links, passwords, codes or patient information.

ℹ Home Screen, offline and reset

The Home Screen icon opens the app, but an internet connection is still needed for sign-in and current information. Resetting local app data is different from signing out; follow IT's instructions rather than assume a reset ends your account sessions.

Managed rooms (invite only) are kept by the service: each is a record with who created it and when, it stays through sign-outs and restarts, and when an administrator deletes one its address is never used again. Administrators create, rename and delete managed rooms; a supervisor asks for a room or for its deletion from the rooms page, and sees the decision there.

Add MediMeet to your Home Screen

Open MediMeet in your browser first.

Home Screen install steps for Safari on iPhone and Chrome on Android

You can also keep using MediMeet in your browser. An internet connection is required.

Dashboard panels

These entries explain the existing dashboard controls. Your account permissions still determine which controls you can use. Help does not turn on a feature or grant access.

Create and send verification

In Users and Access, enter Email, Name and Tier, then choose Create and send verification. The account starts pending. The person activates it using the link or code in their verification email. An email attempt is not a guarantee of arrival.

Account state and actions

The Accounts table shows each account's State and the available actions. Deactivate ends sign-in; a room link already opened may keep working for up to five minutes. Delete deactivates the account and leaves it marked deleted; the email address cannot be used for a new account. Read the confirmation before choosing either action.

Audit filters

Audit is read-only, newest first. Action, Actor and Target use exact match; leave a field empty to match everything. Select an Outcome and Limit, then Apply. Clear resets the filters. A refused outcome records a refusal, not a successful action. This page does not change audit retention.

Reporting

Reporting is a placeholder, not in this release. It does not show report metrics or provide report filters.

Settings

Read-only settings describe the identity service configuration at startup. Secrets, keys and folders show only whether they are set. This page cannot edit them. Ask the server operator to follow the deployment runbook for a change; do not paste secret values into Help or a screenshot.

Last backup

In Settings, Last backup shows the latest reported backup status and age. Failed, old, missing or unreadable status needs the server operator's check. Clock or file wrong means the timestamp is in the future; its age is unavailable. An OK status is not a restore rehearsal or proof that a particular file can be recovered.

Resend verification

For a pending account, choose Resend verification in its Accounts row. It requests another verification message. A successful request is not proof that the message arrived; check the reported result rather than repeatedly sending.

Rename an account

Choose Rename in the Accounts row and enter the new display name. This changes the name shown in meetings and the dashboard, not the email address. It does not grant room access.

Forgot your password?

For two-step sign-in, use an authenticator app such as Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator. Add a time-based account by scanning the setup QR code or typing its key.
